Lucy Dawson: You sent me a letter

Hey y'all, Yep, book haul means regular posts. For a while anyway. I know, I know, I'm spoiling you. <_< Yeah... I have to say, this book had me to tense. Like, I went to bed with serious pain in my shoulders from anxiety. My stress knots had stress knots. I genuinely considered reading the ending of this book because I didn't think my body could cope with this one.  The book mostly tells the events of a couple of days, Sophie's 40th birthday no less. She's woken up by a man in her bedroom and all he does is hand her a letter, steals her phone and tells her not tell anyone, especially the police, that he's been there. Obviously panicked, Sophie heads to her sisters house. She can't figure out who's trying to do this to her, it is her fiance or his ex wife? Why would someone want to hurt her?  As the story unfolds, things about Sophie and her fiance, Marc are revealed. He has a turbulent relationship with his ex Claudine, over hi...

Jojo Moyes: Me before you

Hey guys, I bought this book after seeing the trailer for the film. I'm a big believer in the book is always better so I was pretty excited to read this one. It didn't disappoint. I'm yet to see the film but I hope to get around to it soon, work has me pretty busy at the minute. It's safe to say I live there. Plus freelance work on top of that, yep. I only see my bf at night or when he works from home.  -sigh- Moving on, I read this book over a couple of days. On the bus to and from work, surprisingly. Ok I'm seriously moving on now. I love Louisa 'Lou' Clark! She's funny, quirky and I identified a lot with her. Sometimes I felt a bit trapped when I lived with my parents in a small town but I'm better now in the city. Best decision ever.  She's made redundant and has to start looking for work to help her parents make ends meet and one of these jobs leads her too working as a carer for Will Traynor. Will has been recently paralysed in an acc...

Katerina Diamond: The Teacher

Hey everyone, I hope you all are well. Yeah I suck at regular posts but I'm getting there. Recently it's hard to find the time to read, awk well. I'll get there! Very happy with this book haul. Thank you Amazon! I've even another batch ordered and hopefully will be delivered this week! Can't wait. It really is the simple things in life. I usually pick books either on reviews or from the suggestion section on Amazon. And this is what I've based my last couple of book buys on.  Can honestly say this book was a lot darker than I was expecting. I thought from the description that it was about a suicide and the events that lead up to it. However, that's really not what the book it about. It's told from about three perspectives, Abbey, Parker and DS Adrian Miles.  Abbeys' story is told through flashbacks to her past and her work life, Parker is a new intern at the museum where Abbey works and DS Miles is one of the detectives on the case of the...
